Evelyn a graduate from Pratt Institute, NYC, has over 20 years experience in the fields of print styling, promotions and event planning, providing these services at famed New York ad agency, DDB Needham Worldwide, where she worked closely with Fortune 500 companies. She and husband Jay have lived in Pleasantville since 1986. Changing gears after many years commuting to NYC she began her second career as Mom and volunteer for school and community organizations including Pleasantville Community Scholarship Fund, Friends of the Visual Arts, Girl Scouts of America and Holy Innocents Church. Civic Member and Administrator for the Pville Chamber of Commerce since 2008, she plans Chamber's annual events, manages the website and edits its e-newsletters and social media. Currently PCTV's Managing Director of Operations, she's responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the television studio. With all her experience at connecting and producing, she's looking forward to contributing and working at PCTV.

When I moved to Westchester in 2015 with my wife to be nearer our family, I took a listing in Natural Awakenings. I was so fascinated by the diversity I found there, I wanted to talk to some of the people who offer interesting services there as well as practitioners from the greater New York area.

Meurer, Helen

Helen Meurer chairs the Village of Pleasantvilles Conservation Advisory Council, is a member of the Villages recycling committee: www.PleasantvilleRecycles.org, is a founding member of GreenPville (a local grassroots environmental advocacy and news group), and is a Westchester Master Composter and Recycler. A resident since 1990, Helen volunteers in the schools, and co-chairs the Middle School Earth Day sustainability fair.
