Marlene produces numerous shows at PCTV, including "What's New Pleasantville?" a show conceived & written by Middle School students, "296" an original music showcase filmed at PCTV and the "Rotary Report" spotlighting the many, varied fundraising efforts of the Pleasantville Rotary Club. She particularly likes to align herself with shows that reflect the things in her life for which she feels passion--especially music and teaching. Additionally, Marlene is the proud parent of a daughter and a dedicated supporter of the Marty Lyons Foundation.

    What's New Pleasantville is produced at PCTV by Marlene Canapi. It is both conceived and written by Middle School students. PCTV acts as their classroom, while students gain multiple television production skills, including elements such as: scriptwriting, acting, interviewing, and other phases of program development such as making commercials, marketing and branding.

    "Olivia Likes ALMOST Everything" is an invitation into the mind ofOlivia Nemec, who really does like almost everything. She enjoyspeople, learning new stuff, riding horses, playing with friends,making movies, staying up late, acting in plays, going to hardwarestores, cooking, using label makers, drumming, and being with hercousins. She is rarely not smiling. One of her favorite shows is PEEWEE's PLAYHOUSE. This summer she decided to make her own show thathad some of the same stuff in it. If you are wondering, Olivia doesnot like going to sleep or the word NO.
