Jacob Burns Film Center
"The Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC) is a nonprofit educational and cultural institution dedicated to presenting the best of independent, documentary, and world cinema; promoting visual literacy; and making film a vibrant part of the community. Housing a state-of-the-art theater complex, a 27,000 square-foot Media Arts Lab, and a residence for international filmmakers, the JBFC campus provides opportunities for people of all ages to discover, explore, and learn through the power of film, media and 21st-century technology. Since we opened our doors to the public in 2001, more than a million people from the tri-state area have come here to see over 3,000 films from every corner of the globe. Nearly 60,000 students in grades 3-12 and college have participated in our education programs, more than 50% of them from underserved communities throughout the tri-state area. Their participation, including transportation, is funded entirely by the FilmCenter, thanks in part to support from individuals, foundations, and corporations."

Pleasantville Community Television
"PCTVs mission is to enhance the quality of life of the residents of Pleasantville and build a sense of cohesiveness and community by providing increased avenues of communication; access to educational content; information on local government, cultural events, and activities; and an opportunity for self-expression inclusive of all. PCTVs vision is to provide equitable access to a community voice that can be heard and seen."

Pleasantville Music Festival
"The Pleasantville Music Festival is dedicated to hosting original music with an emphasis on regional performers. The PMF fosters a strong sense of community amongst the residents of the Village, its neighbors, the musicians and charitable organizations. The Festival also seeks to enhance Pleasantville as a cultural destination."

Pleasantville Rotary Club
"Continuously from 1924 to the present, a Rotary Club, fostering Rotary, the 4-Way Test, and service to the community, the nation, and the world, has served in Pleasantville. The first club served without interruption from March 12, 1924 when it received its charter from Rotary International until its dissolution in 1977 when it, with Rotary International\u2019s approval, created the second club, now known as the \u201cRotary Club of Pleasantville, New York, U.S.A., Inc.\u201d "
