Series: Pleasantville Community Garden
Category: Pleasantville Public Access
Description: The idea of the Pleasantville Community Garden was conceived by 7th grader, Devin Juros in 2012 at the age of 12. The PCG provides fresh produce to the hungry and food insecure people of Westchester County - through the Hillside Food Pantry and was built in June 2014 and is managed by volunteers from the area. We maintain a 600 square foot garden on the grounds of St. John's Church in Pleasantville, NY and have donated over 1500 pounds of fresh vegetables to the food pantry in 2014!
